Are you caring for older parents near or far away? I am in the caregiver role (from afar) and finding it both rewarding and exhausting. I'd love to share stories, solution, and challenges with others in the same situation, My thought is to meet over coffee, go for a walk, etc. once every 1-2 weeks. If you'd like a place to unwind, laugh, and/or cry as you go through this time of caregiving, consider joining this meetup.

Hello fellow cooking fans. New Orleans has always been a place for great cuisine. Whether it be at the start of the meal with a great appetizer, a mouth watering entree, or a delicate sweet taste of a desert, we have got all the types in this city. People have been creating new recipes and reusing old ones for years in this city. I know when my father used to own both a bakery and a pizza place how much I liked to share my family cuisine with others. I want to create a place for people that enjo …

This is a meetup group for families with children ages 8 & up, who deal with the challenges of Asperger's Syndrome & other High Functioning PDDs, to be amongst those who share your desire for understanding & social living. I started this group because I know our children have so much to offer this world & so few resources in our area for social skill building. Let's foster thier growth through the magic of friendship & parent guided cooperative play & gatherings (via games, movies, Legos, etc)
